What are the main types of natural fibres?

There are man-made (synthetic) and natural fibers. Natural fibers are classified into three groups according to the nature of the source: vegetable, animal (silk and wool). In our factory we make natural fibers / twines made from vegetables, like jute, flax, sisal, and cotton. There are also other vegetable fibers ropes made from hemp, ramie, pineapple, coil, or oil palm.

What are natural twine benefits?

Natural twines are made for as long as humanity exists. Today natural fiber twines are produced for strength, durability, and visual effect. The most common natural fiber twines are made from sisal, cotton, jute, and flax. Twines are usually twisted or braided together for strength and elasticity. Natural fiber ropes have a lot of benefits: elasticity, hygroscopicity (the fiber is capable of absorbing water from its environment), durability, strength, uniformity, sound insulation, resistance to mold, eco-friendly, biodegradable, and accessible price. These benefits can vary depending on chosen natural fiber. One of the benefits of natural ropes is that it can be very easily dyed in any colour that is desired.

Natural fiber ropes are used for packing in the food industry, gifts, souvenirs, and in everyday life. It is rarely used in industries, that need high strength and resistance to chemicals and other organic substances.

Why natural fiber twines are better than synthetic?

Natural fiber twines like flax, cotton, jute, or sisal are environmentally friendly and are renewable resources. They are more environmentally friendly than synthetic fibers like polypropylene. Natural twines are more resistant to extreme temperatures and ultraviolet rays.
