8-strand cord is made from 100% high tenacity polypropylene multifilament. The cord has good resistance to the chemical habitat and average resistance to abrasion. Smooth and soft floating cord which is lighter than polyester and polyamide has good UV-resistance. Elongation at breaking load is approx 25%. An economical price combined with wide applications makes these rope very attractive for customers. Polypropylene multifilament cords successfully found their applications in the marine transport, the cargo handling, the fishery, the agriculture and construction. Also use in water sport, gardening and as auxiliary cord for decoration and hobby.
